I’ve searched the archives and found the 10 favourite wedding dresses I have been lucky enough to photograph in 2019.

I could go on and include all 50 dresses I’ve shot this year but that could take a while and I have to get back onto editing December’s beautiful brides so for now here are a few highlights!

1. GALIA LAHAV

The ‘Bellina’ dress from Galia Lahav stole my heart this year.

When the lovely girls from Dion For Brides told us they were hosting a Galia Lahav trunk show

I was jumping up and down and straight away asked if this beauty was coming in and If I could steal her for a shoot.

2. DONNA TOBIN COUTURE

Danielle was all class in her classic A-Line wedding dress from Donna Tobin Couture in Perth.

A perfect match for her intimate State Buildings wedding in the City.

3. RUE DE SEINE

Summer 2019 kicked off with Rue De Seine and their boho-chic fringed off the shoulder design for

Chef Janine Booth’s wedding at Matilda Bay and The Shorehouse.

Janine’s wedding was featured in BRIDES Magazine and also picked as BRIDES MAG 35 Best Wedding Dresses of The Year.

4. MAEVANA

With my track record for leaving things to the last minute when doing shoots

I asked Maevana to finish off this dress she had started and add some sleeves the night before flying off to Queenstown.

I’m sure glad I did because we got some beautiful images!

5. BRIDAL BY AUBREY ROSE

This figure-hugging beaded beauty by Qnique Bridal from Bridal by Aubrey Rose was the perfect match for a winter night-time wedding at Perth City Farm.

6. MADE WITH LOVE BRIDAL

Found at the cute Little White Boutique, Launceston, Verity picked a sleek and simple Made With Love Bridal dress to pair with

her colourful bouquet, sequined reception jacket, vintage veil and statement earrings. I’ve loved everything Made With Love creates since spying on them in Hello May a few year ago. 

7. PALLAS COUTURE

The lace detail and boned bodice from Pallas Couture in Perth sure wowed the crowds.

8. STEVEN KHALIL

Kristen’s custom made Steven Khalil dress was a dream on this radio host for her Blanket Bay mountain wedding.

I’ve been hanging out to shoot Georgia Young Couture for some time now

and Susie made that happen with her modern black and white themed bridal party.
