SIMONE + ROBBIE | EICHARDT’S QUEENSTOWN WEDDING
Well it sure was interesting flying into Queenstown in the middle of summer and seeing snow on the mountaintops. At first I thought it was my delusional jet lagged mind playing tricks on me but after freezing my butt off getting off the plane in shorts and thongs it quickly hit home this was real.
I quickly forgot how cold it was after seeing the magical mountains and lakes and remembered just how stunning this place is, no matter the season.
Eichardt’s Private Hotel’s Penthouse is just on another level… Possibly the best view of Queenstown there is and what an incredible place for an intimate wedding venue. The party went up a notch as 4 Maori locals came charging into the party un-announced and performed the Haka in front of amazed guests before inviting a few select gentlemen to a dance(Haka)-off?!
I had never met Simone and Robbie before today but it didn’t take long to realise these two genuine and lovely souls where totally and utterly in love with each other. Their two kids, being a huge part of their life were equally a big part of their wedding day and boy oh boy how cute are they!!
