I’m Kate, a Perth-based wedding and elopement photographer capturing honest, relaxed celebrations for couples who care more about meaning than tradition.

Elopements are some of my favourite days to photograph — they strip everything back to what actually matters. No big production, no pressure, just two people choosing each other in a way that feels natural, personal, and completely their own.

Whether you’re planning a quiet ceremony by the coast, a mountaintop moment at sunset, or a simple registry-style elopement followed by dinner with your favourite people, I’m there to document it in a way that feels true to you.

My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I won’t put you into stiff poses or interrupt the flow of your day. Instead, I focus on real connection — the way you look at each other, the little nervous laughs, the quiet pauses, and the joy that unfolds when you’re fully present.

Most of my couples tell me they’re not “natural in front of the camera.” That’s completely normal — and honestly, exactly why I work the way I do. I’ll guide you gently when needed, but most of the time, I let moments happen naturally so your photos feel effortless, real, and full of emotion.

Perth and Western Australia are incredible for elopements. From coastal cliffs and hidden beaches to forests, vineyards, and city spaces with soft light — there are so many beautiful places to create something meaningful without needing anything over the top.
