Start Putting a Timeline together

Start with the photography timeline (You can find this in your Client Portal if you are one of my couple’s) and then expand on it, adding in all vendors bump in and outs – unless you have a stylist or planner who will do that for you.

I find this is a great job to give the groom to get him involved and my hubby was a gun at Excel – I am terrible at it! We made one big Excel Doc with everything from Guest List, RSVPs and Timeline.

Book the Yummy Stuff

Whether this be a Dessert Table, Cake, Gelato Bicycle or Mr Whippy Van like we did in Summer. Make the most of taste testing!! If it’s going to be hot you might want a Gelato Cart straight after the congrats at your wedding Ceremony instead of at the end of the night.

Best wedding cakes and cake makers in Perth including Jo from The Cake and I.

Finalise your Wedding Stationery

Make them fun and you. Add an illustrated map, foiling, embossing – get a custom logo made to use throughout your stationery and later I can pop on your album cover so it is beautifully personalised. Work out what you are going to do about gifts, kids, partners and dietary requirements.

Plan you Hens

Send you Maid of Honour/ Bridesmaids a list to your best girlfriends to plan your hens – will you invite your mum/ aunties/ grandmas or just the closet gal pals.

Read my post on the Best Hens Party Ideas (That don’t involve Strippers) here.

It includes my favourite Summer package from The Holistic Hen in Dunsborough for an epic Girls Weekend down south full of activities!

Schedule Hair and Makeup

Companies like The Pretty Parlour, Brittany Mason Makeup and Kayla Marshall Hair who are my most trusted will know when to start, usually, an hour per person if there are 2 separate hair and makeup artists. Try and tell them you need to be finished at LEAST an hour before you need to leave, you will need at least half an hour to get dressed and ideally half an hour for photos with the girls and your folks if they are around. Don’t forget travel time.
