H+J | Roy’s Peak Wanaka New Zealand

After coming back from Wanaka recently I realised that I haven’t actually blogged this gorgeous wedding shoot I did a while back with the talented and gorgeous power couple Hannah and Jossi Wells.
Their actual wedding ceremony was held in the States, which meant that all of their photography was taken overseas, away from Jossi’s hometown. This wedding shoot gave them with an opportunity to have some wedding imagery closer to home for Jossi too, and boy oh boy was it worth it. Hannah is the goddess behind Faith Lord and a talented creative director and photographer and Jossi Is an Olympic Skier/ crazy cat.
This shoot wasn’t as calm as It may look either, getting stuck behind a thousand merino sheep not in a hurry to go home whilst trying to find this incredible waterfall, only to realise that the water was all frozen up the mountain, then running out of daylight hours to get a heli up to the mind blowing Roy’s Peak. Luckily the guys at Aspiring Helicopters looked after us and we made it for that incredible golden hour light.
