Three Generations at Cottesloe Civic Centre
There’s something special about photographing three generations together.
While family photos often begin as a gift or a way to mark a milestone, they quickly become something more valuable with time. The images we return to years later are rarely the perfectly posed ones—they’re the laughs between cousins, the way grandparents look at their grandchildren, and the small moments that tell the story of a family.
This session brought together three generations for a relaxed morning at Cottesloe Civic Centre. With its heritage architecture, established gardens, and open lawns, it remains one of my favourite locations for extended family photography in Perth.
The result was a collection of photographs that felt natural, joyful, and full of connection—memories not just for today, but for future generations to look back on.
