Australia’s Best Wedding Photographers Award

It was a special start to the week receiving a lovely message from Amanda Alessi, and learning that I had been named Runner-Up in Capture Magazine’s Australia’s Best Wedding Photographer awards.

I feel incredibly grateful to work with such generous, creative couples and to call wedding photography my job. Like anything, there are always challenges behind the scenes, but it’s a career I wouldn’t trade.

Congratulations to Morgan Roberts on taking first place — his creativity and consistency continue to be genuinely inspiring. And to Adam Levi Brown for placing third, alongside a long list of well-deserved achievements. It’s a privilege to share the industry with photographers whose work I deeply respect, and from whom I continue to learn.

Thank you to Capture Magazine for recognising the work, and to all the photographers who entered. The level of talent in this industry is constantly evolving and always inspiring.
