There is something beautiful with small weddings, with more time to actually spend with your nearest & dearest and have time to relax and soak it all in.

Lux* South Ari Atoll Resort is one of the most beautiful places I have visited and made for the most perfect wedding venue. The people who work on the island are some of the loveliest I have ever met.

There is something so genuine about them, you can feel how they just want to help you. Give you a ride to the beach on the golf cart, bring you Gelato on their bicycle after a walk along the beach or how they dim the lights to suit the time of day and leave you little notes to help your stay.

Before I left we went out to the overwater bungalows and went for a dip to take some underwater photos. We literally had 5 minutes before I had to grab my things and between it not actually being deep enough and a couple who usually wear contacts let’s just say it was the funniest experience to watch! We did get a few underwater shots!
