Here are a few BYO Wedding Venues in Perth for party animals wanting a late to no curfew and be able to have craft beers, personalised cocktails and more!

I would say my current two faves are

• Perth City Farm – It’s super central, customisable, I got married there but takes a lot of work and not everything works
• Barrett Lane –  Another blank canvas that’s the perfect summer venue 

They are both great for outdoor weddings under the stars where you can have both the ceremony & reception at the same venue which is my absolute favourite setup.

Tip: Indoor venues in summer can get boiling

PRO’S FOR BYO WEDDINGS

• Late – no Curfew
• You get to style and position things wherever you want
• Your choice of caterer or food truck
• Throw all the confetti (generally)
• Noise (generally) so bring a band along

CON’S OF BYO WEDDINGS

• You have to do EVERYTHING yourself / co-ordinate everyone/ bring everything
• I highly recommend a stylist/ planner – you think you can do it but you can’t/shouldn’t
• They aren’t always left in the cleanest state/ working order
• They can sometimes be expensive for what they are/ the empty shell
• If they aren’t a working venue you might need toilets/ generator for power

PERTH CITY FARM

Perth City Farm perfectly brings together an urban setting with natural elements. The warehouse-style barn is a blank canvas that can be styled to your liking, opening up onto a beautiful courtyard and garden. This space is great for large events and can hold up to 400 people.

THE QUARRY, AMPHITHEATRE

Capacity: 557 on the grassed area  |  Catering: Ultimo catering and events | Alcohol: Option for BYO

Located in City Beach, The Quarry Amphitheatre is grand is size and stature. 

Carved into a limestone hillside this location offers tiered seating as well as a large undercover marquee area for your reception.

BARRETT LANE, SWAN VALLEY

If you have followed my work for a while you would know Barrett Lane is one of my favourite wedding venues in Perth.  It’s gorgeous gardens make for the most beautiful summer outdoor garden picnic style weddings. It suits so many styles of wedding and is so naturally pretty, requires little styling. Pair it with the ‘Bar-a-van’ from the Travelling Jaspers Bar and an outdoor Argentinian BBQ with picnic blankets and lounges for a gorgeous summer shindig.

THE OLD PICKLE FACTORY, WEST PERTH

Capacity: 300 cocktail style / 200 seated  |  Catering: BYO  |  Alcohol: BYO

With a great location in West Perth, this rustic warehouse is great for Winter weddings or a hideout from midsummer sun.

As the name suggests, this old pickle factory which used to produce jams and sauces has been transformed into this amazing shell to create your own chic unique wedding venue.

FRIDAYS STUDIOS

Around the corner and similar vibe to The Old Pickle Factory, this moody New York industrial style wedding venue is great when paired with some awesome styling by stylists like Bertie Does, Sophia Monique or Butcher Baker.

KIDOGO ARTHOUSE FREMANTLE

Capacity: 130 cocktail style / 90 seated  | Catering: Recommended list  |  Alcohol: BYO

Situated at the iconic Bathers Beach in Fremantle this iconic limestone building looks great in photos, the light coloured walls and gravel outdoors acts as a beautiful reflector. Inside may be a bit dark but allows for your guests to keep cool on those bright summers days.

 

 

NANGA BUSH CAMP, DWELLINGUP
