Best wedding venues in Perth, WA

Best wedding venues in Perth, WA by Perth wedding photographer, Kate Drennan Photography

So, you’re engaged, CONGRATULATIONS! First thing you need to do is choose a wedding venue where you will celebrate the best day of your life.

It’s no easy task for most brides. Here is a guide to my favourite venues to give you some ideas.

HOW TO FIND THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE //

Before searching google for wedding venues in Perth ask yourself a few questions.

What places are special to us as a couple?

Are you beach people? Bush people? Classy or rural? (I replaced rustic with rural and now not sure how people will define that but anyway..)

How many people do we need to accommodate for?

Is BYO a better option? I say heck yes! And Cocktail over sit down any day!

Is it easier to have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue? (Insert yes here)

What time of year will it be?

Will this venue still be cool our favourite pick in over a years time?

How will it look in photos? If all indoors, is this best for natural light?

What kinds of photos are you after?

What will the weather do on the day?

Will down south be hard to get to or more secluded and personal?

Next, have a look at a few of my favourite wedding ceremony and reception venues and see if any of these match your vision.
